The Getime iOS app does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. Everything the app stores stays on your device. Our website, getime.app, is a separate marketing and ordering site; see Website analytics below.

What Getime stores on your device

All of the following is saved locally on your phone and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else:

• The focus profiles you create, including their names, colours, and settings.
• Which apps, categories, and websites you chose to block.
• Your session history, streaks, and focus statistics.
• The identifier of any Getime NFC card you register, stored in the iOS Keychain.

Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

Information the app does not collect

The Getime app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs that gather data. The app functions entirely offline.

Website analytics

This website (getime.app), including the card-order page, is separate from the app. It uses privacy-friendly, IP-anonymised analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. This is never linked to your app usage or to any data on your device. Visitors in the EU/UK are asked for consent before any analytics cookie is set.

If you order a Getime card, the details you provide (name, phone number, governorate, area, and nearest landmark) are used only to prepare and deliver your order.

Permissions Getime asks for, and why

• Screen Time (Family Controls). Required to shield the apps and websites you select during a session you start. Your selections are made through Apple's own app picker, which means Getime never learns which specific apps you chose. iOS keeps that information private even from us.
• Motion & Fitness. Optional, and only used by the “Walk to Unlock” mode to count steps toward the goal that ends a session. Step data is read on the device and never leaves it.
• NFC. Used to read a Getime card so a session can be started or ended.
• Notifications. Optional, used to tell you when sessions begin and end and to celebrate streaks.

Children

Getime is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, there is nothing to collect from a child.

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and revise the date above.
